MOSCOW, Jun 27 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom has postponed the launch of the Novourengoisky gas chemical complex in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District until 2021 from late 2018 planned earlier, according to the company’s documents seen on Tuesday.
The project was initially started in the 1990s, but was frozen in 1996 due to the lack of financing and Gazprom returned to it in the 2000s and acts as the investor.
The facility is to have an annual production capacity of 400,000 tonnes of low density polyethylene.
